Lucky for me, we found them at the Santa Clara 4th of July Celebration this past Thursday, and were able to cool off to these yummy sweet treats while enjoying the musical entertainment at the event. We decided on the mint chip ice cream taco, dipped in dark chocolate, with almonds on top. It was mini sized, made just right, very satisfying on this hot summer holiday. The options on the food truck menu were somewhat limited, not exactly what you get at their actual shop, but it was all good. Service was great, there was no line to order and our ice cream tacos took just a few minutes to be ready. Rocko's ice cream tacos are my fave! ”

“ I didn't take a pic because I ate my taco and enjoyed every bite I forgot to to take pic !! Excellent and delicious !!! The waffle taco shell is crispy and crunchy . I ordered strawberry with chocolate ice cream that had chips in it dipped in milk chocolate . Was soooo good . The chocolate was nice and light flavored and strawberry fresh tasting . I recommend this place - my son had bourbon vanilla . Again great flavor and what's not to like about these delicious tacos!!! ”

“ Such a novel and sweet addition to any social event! I got to try Rocko's ice cream tacos at a company function and it was a huge hit with everyone since most people went back for seconds, including myself! For reference they are about the size of your palm, not large like the old school Choco Tacos for those that are familiar. They taste better than Choco Tacos though!! Their thin waffle tacos have a hint of cinnamon that shined brightly with every bite. I tried ESPRESSO icecream flavor dipped in dark chocolate and it was heaven. The icecream was smooth with specks of espresso and best of all, it wasn't too sweet. I could have eaten half a dozen I'm sure! Maybe one of the best coffee flavors I've had in a while. I also tried the MINT CHOCOLATE CHIP after they ran out of several flavors and didn't find it special. The ice cream was not bright commercial green which was appreciated but I actually didn't like the chocolate chips since they were hard. (Personal preference but I prefer thin crunchy flecks) All in all, very fun and tasty experience. I'd definitely be excited if I saw them again so I could try their other homemade ice cream flavors. ”

“ Love these ice cream tacos! It takes me back to when Taco Bell had ice cream tacos, except this is way better! There are lots of customizations and varieties. Super good. I even found them at a party, so you can get a whole catering pack! They were a bit there too. Definitely recommend. ”

“ I have had Rocko's twice as a catered work event and I love the ice cream tacos! They are not huge so they make for a nice little treat without feeling too guilty about induging yourself! They have some great flavors and the flavors change depending on the seasons and what is available. The ice cream is made fresh and you can definitely taste the quality and freshness. They use organic ingredients and are locally sourced. It's a great concept where the the tacos are dipped into the desired sauce(s) upon ordering and quickly freeze and harden using liquid nitrogen. VERY COOL! Dark chocolate is my favorite sauce. I have had the following taco flavors and all were excellent: Espresso Peanut butter caramel Blueberry Crumble Cookies & cream Coworkers have had the dipped frozen banana and they also raved about it. I can't wait to try them again! ”

Rocko's ice cream tacos are game changers, presenting both in a perfectly consistent ratio with almost every bite, giving just the right balance of waffle cone to ice cream. While they do have a truck, those who can't make it out can also consider Rocko's for catering, which is how I finally got my chance to try them. As for the process itself: pick your flavor, pick a dip, add toppings, and watch them dunk it in a vat of liquid nitrogen to lock it all in. ***Accessibility Info*** Venue - Not relevant for catering, while I imagine the truck is what you'd usually expect from food trucks.
